In an era defined by the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence and deep learning, contemporary art faces the crisis of "Conceptual Collage Syndrome"—where innovation is increasingly reduced to the algorithmic recombination of existing cultural resources. Artism is a practice-based research project that responds to this crisis by "fighting fire with fire." It is not merely a tool for generating art, but a self-reflexive digital ecosystem.

The system is composed of two intertwined core engines:

1. AIDA (Artistic Intelligence Dynamic Agents)A parallel art history simulator driven by a multi-agent system. AIDA resurrects historical artists and creates virtual creators, each endowed with independent perception, memory, and reflection mechanisms. Within this virtual community, these AI agents do not just create artworks; they comment on each other, debate, and even form new movements, simulating the complex social dynamics of the real art world.

2. Ismism Machine (The Generator of "Isms" and Critique)A deconstruction device targeting contemporary art discourse. Utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and image generation technologies, it automatically and massively produces seemingly profound "New Art Isms" alongside their supporting critical theories. By demonstrating how easily AI can "collage" plausible art concepts through probabilistic calculation, this engine exposes the hollowness and homogenization prevalent in contemporary creation.

Artism attempts to establish a "Critical Isomorphism"—using algorithmic systems to simulate and critique the logic of art production in the algorithmic age. Here, the machine is no longer a tool for humans, but a mirror, reflecting how fragile our definitions of "originality" and "authenticity" have become in this era of mechanical reproduction and data-driven aesthetics.

该系统由两个相互交织的核心引擎构成:
  1. AIDA (虚拟艺术家社会网络): 这是一个由多智能体(Multi-Agent)驱动的平行艺术史模拟器。系统复活了历史上的艺术家并创造了虚拟创作者,他们拥有独立的感知、记忆与反思机制。在虚拟社区中,这些AI代理不仅创作作品,还会互相评论、争论,甚至形成新的流派,模拟真实艺术界的社会动力学。
  2. Ismism Machine (主义生成与批评机器): 这是一个针对当代艺术话语的解构装置。它利用大语言模型(LLM)和图像生成技术,自动且批量地生产看似深刻的“新艺术流派(Isms)”及其配套的批评理论。通过展示AI如何轻易地通过概率计算“拼贴”出看似合理的艺术概念,该引擎揭示了当代艺术创作中普遍存在的空洞与同质化。

Artism 试图建立一种“批判性同构(Critical Isomorphism)”,即利用算法系统来模拟和批判算法时代的艺术生产逻辑。在这个系统中,机器不再是人类的工具,而是成为了一面镜子,映照出在这个机械复制与数据驱动的时代,我们对于“原创性”与“真实性”的定义是多么脆弱。
