Awards are a unique "merit culture" in China, usually conferred by schools, governments, and other authorities. It is used to recognize excellence, goodness, positivity, and upward. After I passed by the stationery store beside a primary school, I made a quick decision to try to make the elementary school students happy by giving them "award certificates" at will, just in time for the end of school. Of course, there was a small price to pay for this so-called happiness which 0,1 euro. I think this seems to provide them with an alternative perception of authority, thus trying to dismantle the communist authority in Chinese society.

奖状是中国独有的一种“奖励文化”，通常为学校，政府等部门授予。用于表彰某种权威所认为的优秀，好，积极，正面。在我经过文具用品店之后，当机立断之下，抓紧赶在小学生放学的时机,通过将“奖状”随意授予的方式，尝试让他们获得小小的幸福。当然，获得这份所谓的幸福有一个小小的代价——一块钱人民币。我认为这似乎可以给他们提供另一种对于权威的认知，从而试图瓦解中国社会中的共产主义权威。
